Back in Action!

I survived my Bachelorette Party (barely) and we closed on the house on Monday!! We won't have internet or cable at the house until Friday so blogging will be very sparce until then. Watching continuous Friends DVDs is about the only form of entertainment we have right now!

But when I return I will have a plethera of posts with tons of pictures! I can't wait to share my weekend with you and some pictures of US in the house!!

Bachelorette Par-tay!

Hey ladies I am heading to my "Destination Unknown" Bachelorette Party! I've heard talk of condos so I assuming we are heading some place beachy...woo hoo! I'm super pumped and I can't wait to see all my darlings! Two of my friends from high school and two of my chickys from college will be there and I can't wait. Sadly my friend Stephie from New Beginnings is set to be due today so we will not be joining us... we will miss her, but can't wait to see her bundle of joy when we get back! Well we are off to pick up one of my friends from DC at the airport so see you when I get back!!

And they're off!

Not the horses at the Kentucky Derby...my invitations!

As you all know I mailed my invitations out 2 weeks ago and now that all our family and friends have them in their hands, I figured I would share them with you all!

Of course we have pictures of us dropping off the lovely invitations:

(I'll be honest, these are "fakes", I ended up going inside and hand canceling each one of them!)

I was a lazy bum when it comes to the design of these invites... I went to Hello Lucky and had them do them for me! So unfortunately no DIY story here, but there will be some of those come later!

So here is the whole set:

(Invitation, Outer Envelope, RSVP envelope, RSVP address label, and the RSVP)

The Invitation:

The RSVP:

Sorry for the blurryness of the pictures... I'll try to do an update when the lighting is better! Here is a link to the actual invitations, http://www.hellolucky.com/regency-digital-wedding-invitation-fuchsia.html. Now the envelopes were letterpress (swoon) and the invitations and the rsvps were digital but they looked super close to letterpress! I would recommend Hello Lucky to anybody! Just beware, there is no inner envelope!!

I had all the rsvps sent to my parents in Mississippi and my mom and 6 year old little sister had a blast going through 32 of them today when they got back from their 4th of July vacation! So about one third of our invitations have come back and very few have declined!!

This should be interesting...
